Monette Sports was first opened under the banner of Kawasaki and Bombardier in 1974 by M.Michel Monette. In April 1979, M. Alain Trottier bought the store which was destined to become one of the best known in the province.

Year after year he added great new brand names like BMW, YAMAHA and KTM which helped make him one of the rare "motorcycle only" dealers in Quebec.
