Commercial Drive is known as “The Drive” with local Vancouverites and is where the first Italian community started and flourished in the 1950s. This tour captures the flavours of authentic Italian cuisine in this charming European neighbourhood.

Many of the stops on the tour are local family-run businesses that have been in this area for many years. The owners are full of passion and pride as they serve up their specialties to our tour guests. The tour menu features traditional cheeses & meats, Italian red wine, authentic Neapolitan pizza, pasta with traditional Italian meatballs, famous handmade sausage and slider (at Falconetti’s which is featured on the hit Food Network TV show “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives”), freshly baked custard-filled cannoli, authentic Italian latte and homemade gelato. * On our tours, we do eat pasta, pastries and other products that may contain gluten, dairy, seafood, eggs, nuts and other allergens. If you have dietary restrictions that limit you from eating these foods, this tour may not be suitable for you. We are able to accommodate vegetarian requests.

Cancellation Policies:
* Once a ticket has been reserved, we cannot reschedule your tour date. Your space has been reserved and guaranteed for you for that tour, so please plan accordingly. No partial credits or rescheduling are allowed for partial attendance, no shows, or late arrivals. Also, please arrive 15 minutes before the tour starts to meet the other guests and to get an overview of the tour before it starts. Tours depart on schedule.

* The tours are 2.5 hours in length but we sit down for 3-5 minutes at several stops. We walk at a very casual pace and the area is relatively flat and easy to walk. We like to think of it as a leisurely stroll.

* Tours are held rain or shine. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress appropriately for the weather the day of your tour.

* Due to the health regulations that govern the various food establishments we visit, pets of any kind are not allowed on our tours.

* We reserve the right to limit the number of participants or to cancel any tour that fails to attract minimum enrolment.

* Gratuities are not included in your Samba Days gift experience.
